medications, CHANTIX was proven more effective than
the nicotine patch, bupropion, and placebo (sugar pill).
This study evaluated people with and without a history
of mental health conditions and evaluated how effective
these medications were at getting a smoker to quit by
9 to 12 weeks and 9 to 24 weeks.
How do I quit smoking with CHANTIX?
CHANTIX is a 12- or 24-week treatment. With
CHANTIX, you can choose one of several ways to set
your quit date: you can choose to smoke your last
cigarette 1 week after starting CHANTIX, up to 1 month
after starting CHANTIX, or if you are sure that you
cannot quit that abruptly, you can start CHANTIX and
then cut your smoking in half each month, with the goal
of getting to your last cigarette at the end of the third
